Haven’t written in a while. Just about sums up how I feel about “The Fault in Our Stars” by John Green. Thanks for the inspiration, Mr. Green.

“We can read under trees/ I read to you, you read to me/ Literature, essays, poetry, prose/ Stuff from Shakespeare to Hemingway, to Angelou, to Prose/ We can read in pure daylight/ Or with flashlights under stars/ We can write the way up to the Moon and Mars/ We’d fall ‘in love the way you fall asleep: slowly, and then all at once’ until we’re pulled in by our dreams/ And you and I will be inseperable/ And it will be unconditional/ And we’d have a love like Augustus and Hazel Grace minus the cancer/ And we’d live our lives happily ever after/ It would be like a Nicholas Sparks novel come true/ You and me, me and you/ We could write cute notes in our books/ We could tell cute stories outside the books/ But most of all, we’d fall from pages/ Taking our love through all the stages/ Of literature/ This is how our love will be/ Like a fairytale: told through literacy.”
